NEW LONDON, Conn. – Regis College picked up a 9-0 victory at Mitchell College on Saturday afternoon at the Mack Tennis Courts.

Regis (11-6 overall) improved to 5-0 in New England Collegiate Conference play. The Pride swept all three doubles matches by 8-0 finals before taking all six singles points.

The best singles match of the day came at the top spot between Regis' Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass./North Reading) and Mitchell's Orson Sinclair (New London, Conn./K12 International Academy). Sinclair took the first set by a 6-4 score before Harrow rebounded to win 6-1 in the second. In lieu of a third set, the two played a 10-point tiebreaker which Harrow won 10-5.

The remaining five singles matches all ended in straight sets. No other Regis player lost more than two games in any set, with Luke Horton (Bass Harbor, Maine/Mount Desert Island), Nick Hildreth (Harvard, Mass./The Broomfield School) and Jeremy Morgenbesser (Bayport, N.Y./Bayport Bluepoint) each triumphing by 6-0, 6-0 finals.

Regis returns to action at home against Lesley on Tuesday, April 12 at 4:30 p.m. Mitchell will next play a doubleheader at Lesley University on Sunday, April 10 at 12 and 3 p.m.
