REGIS SWEEPS NECC WEEKLY AWARDS

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College sophomore Nathan Cohen (Randolph, Mass.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference men's tennis Player of the Week, while teammate Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) has been named the Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday morning.

Cohen helped lead the Pride to a pair of NECC wins this week. Cohen and Matt Quattrociocchi (Germantown, Md.) were perfect at No. 2 doubles, posting an 8-1 win against Mitchell and an 8-5 victory against Newbury. Against Mitchell, Cohen won his No. 4 singles matchup 6-1,6-1 before moving to No. 3 singles against Newbury and winning 6-0, 6-1.

Harrow helped lead the Pride to a 2-0 mark in NECC matches this week. Harrow and Michael Beluch teamed for a pair of wins at No. 1 doubles, winning at Mitchell, 8-4, and at Newbury, 8-2. At No. 2 singles, Harrow won against Mitchell, 6-2, 6-3, and wrapped up the week with a 6-2, 6-4 win against Newbury. This is Harrow's third NECC Rookie award.
