WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore Michael Beluch (Lynn, Mass.) won at number one singles and doubles to lead visiting Regis College to a 6-3 win over host Becker College in NECC men's tennis action on Saturday.
The Pride of Regis are now 10-8 overall and 10-0 against conference opponents while the Hawks of Becker drop to 4-5, all in NECC matches.
Beluch teamed with junior Jeff Parrish (Framingham, Mass.) to win 8-1 at number one doubles, then went on to triumph in his singles match, 6-1, 6-1. Parrish was a winner at number three singles, 7-5, 6-3. Senior Sophorn Nop (Lowell, Mass.) won 6-3, 6-0 in singles play and 8-3 at doubles.
For Becker, senior Branden Parkhouse (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) won at number two singles, 4-6, 6-3 (13-11).
It was the final regular season match for both opponents.
