REGIS COLLEGE LOOK FOR WIN AGAINST LEBANON VALLEY

WESTON, Mass.—Playing in its second match of the 2011 season, the Regis College (0-2) men's tennis team lost 9-0 to Lebanon Valley College Monday in Hilton Head, S.C. The Pride is competing in its spring break portion of the 2011 schedule.

Jeffrie Parrish (Framingham, Mass.) tallied a 6-3, 6-1 loss versus his Lebanon Valley opponent in the second singles position. Andy White (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman) also scored points in his sets in the third singles.

The Regis College pair would also earn three points versus Ethan Grodzinksi and Tom Neckelmann in an 8-3 doubles loss. Dan Berdichevsky and Matthew Smolko also scored three points in their 8-3 loss to the two Lebanon Valley opposition.

Regis College will return to the court Tuesday, March 8 to face Ashford at 12:30 p.m. The Pride's remaining schedule while in South Carolina consists of matches versus Grand Rapids Community College (Mar. 9) and Wilkes (Mar. 11).

Regis College will host its first match of the season versus The Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Endicott College on March 19.
