"With such an early meet in our season, it was great to see us compete and race. This is just our third week of practice and we have come a long way in a short amount of time in getting everyone back into shape," said head coach James Sweeney.

"The team has been training very hard and has shown great dedication and commitment. We had a number of very good swims today by several men and women, highlighted by Kiet's new school record. I am looking forward to even harder practices next week as we now look towards swimming against UNE next Saturday."

The Pride will get back to action on Oct. 26 with a 1 p.m. away meet against University of New England.
