Weston, Mass.—The Regis College swimming and diving team will be competing this weekend, Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 18-19) at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships. A total of 12 swimmers will be competing for the Pride, with seven for the men and five for the women.
On the women’s team, Christina Estrada (Bellingham, Mass./Blackstone Valley), Megan Pratt (Rockland, Mass./Rockland), Lindsay Ranahan (Hingham, Mass./Hingham), Megan Kennelly (Milford, Mass./Milford), and Stacy Burns (Waltham, Mass./Waltham) will all be contending for a strong finish at the championships.
On the men’s team, Ben Perry (Chicopee, Mass./Chicopee), Andy Laforest (Roslindale, Mass./Another Course), Nick Yerzyk (West Hills, Calif./Chaminade College Prep.), Steve McGovern (Dorchester, Mass./Boston College), Alex Caliendo (Windsor, Conn./Windsor), Djordje Mandic (Portland, Maine/Deering), and Sean O'Brien (Westerly, R.I./ Westerly) will be pursuing their personal best at the championships.
