Peterson and Comeiro earn GNAC Postseason Honors

WINTHROP. Mass. – Dane Peterson and William Comeiro of the Regis College men's soccer team were recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in its postseason honors on Tuesday, Nov. 13, by the league office.

 

First-year forward Dane Peterson (San Diego, Calif.) was voted All-GNAC Third Team after finishing the season with six goals and one assist. Peterson earned GNAC Rookie of the Week on Sept. 3 after scoring his first collegiate goal on a penalty kick against Mass. Maritime to close the deficit to two goals, switching the momentum to Regis' side. Peterson played in 18 matches for the Pride, including 11 starts.

Junior defender William Comeiro (Woburn, Mass.) has been selected to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Soccer All-Sportsmanship Team. Comeiro started 17 of the team's 18 matches this season, while scoring his first collegiate goal on Aug. 31 against Mass. Maritime, to collect two points.

The Regis College men's soccer team finished the season 6-9-4 overall, including a 5-7-2 mark within the GNAC.
