2024 REGIS COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULE
WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College men's soccer team looks to build off the momentum from the home stretch last season as it announces a 17-match regular season schedule for 2024 that includes eight contests at Regis Stadium.
Last season, Regis won its final five regular season conference matches, including four shutouts, to qualify for the 2023 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament. It was the Pride's fourth appearance in the conference tournament since joining the league in 2017.
The Pride begin the 2024 campaign by hosting Massachusetts Maritime Academy Saturday, Aug. 31, starting at 3 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with field hockey. Regis then heads to the North Shore to face Salem State Wednesday night, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m.
The conference season opens for Regis with a home match against defending league champion Johnson and Wales Saturday evening, Sept. 7. The Pride then hit the road for conference matchups at Colby-Sawyer Wednesday, Sept. 11, and at Elms Saturday, Sept. 14.
Regis welcomes Emmanuel Wednesday, Sept. 18, for a rematch of a 2023 conference tournament first round contest won by the Pride, 2-1. The Pride again play two straight road matches, traveling northwest to face 2023 GNAC Tournament finalist Norwich Friday, Sept. 20, and southwest to take on Mitchell Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Four of the next five matches will take place at home for the Pride, starting with University of Saint Joseph during Regis Fest Saturday, Sept. 28. Regis also hosts Rivier Wednesday, Oct. 2, before traveling back to Connecticut, this time to face Albertus Magnus Saturday, Oct. 5.
Regis returns home to face rival Lasell Wednesday, Oct. 9, and New England College Saturday, Oct. 12. The Pride hit the road again, first for a non-conference match at Westfield State Monday, Oct. 14, followed by a league contest at Anna Maria Wednesday, Oct. 16.
The regular season concludes with a home match against Saint Joseph's College Wednesday, Oct. 23, followed by a road contest at Dean Friday, Oct. 25. The 2024 GNAC Tournament will involve the top 10 teams in the final standings, with first round matches on Halloween, quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 2, semifinals on Tuesday, Nov. 5, and the championship match scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9.
Regis College sponsors 19 intercollegiate sports, including men's soccer, within NCAA Division III as a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
