WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman midfielder Derek Triana (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference men's soccer Rookie of the Week, it was announced on Monday afternoon.

Triana started and played in both games for the Pride this past week. He helped lead Regis to a 1-0-1 record. Against Suffolk on September 17th, Triana scored his second goal of the season during a three goal second half as the Pride defeated the Rams 4-0.

The Pride return to the pitch on Wednesday, September 23 when they travel to Fitchburg State for a 7:00 p.m. contest with the Falcons.
