MEN’S SOCCER PROJECTED TO FINISH FOURTH IN CONFERENCE

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College men's soccer team was selected to finish fourth in the New England Collegiate Conference according to the 2015 NECC Men's Soccer Coaches Poll. The Pride received 55 points in a poll conducted by league head coaches.

The Pride have improved their record each year for the past three seasons. Last season, the squad finished at a 9-11, 4-3 NECC clip and made their third straight appearance in the NECC Tournament.

Regis is returning 20 players from last season's team including All-NECC selections Renato Rosas (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.), Don Gomez (Lynn, Mass.) and Amandio Ferreira (Dorchester, Mass.).

Rounding out the preseason polls was Daniel Webster who received six first place votes, Elms who received two first place votes, Lesley, Newbury who received one first place vote, Mitchell, Southern Vermont, Becker and Wheelock.
