WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman midfielder Chandler Neiswanger (Roy, Utah) has been named this week's Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week for the New England region, it was announced on Wednesday.

Neiswanger scored the game winning goal in the Pride's 3-2 victory over Mitchell College in the NECC First Round. The rookie scored with less than 30 seconds remaining to help propel the Pride to the NECC Semifinals. Neiswanger ended his freshman campaign with two goals, including the game winner and four points.

The Pride ended the year with a heartbreaking 2-1 double-overtime loss to Elms College on Friday night. Regis finished the 2014 season with a 9-11, 4-3 NECC mark.
