WESTON, Mass. - The Regis College men's soccer team has been picked to finish fourth in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) this season, according to the preseason coaches poll that was released on Wednesday afternoon. The poll is determined by a vote amongst the league's coaches.

Elms, the defending NECC Champions, were selected to finish first after picking up 56 points and five first-place votes. Lesley picked up three first-place votes and 54 overall points to come in at second, while Mitchell's 46 points placed them third.

The Pride, who return a pair of All-NECC Second Team-ers in Angel Aguilar (Silver Spring, Md.) and Stefan Todorovic (Los Angeles, Calif.), earned 44 points to round out the top half of the poll.

Daniel Webster (34), Newbury (25), Southern Vermont (18), and Becker (11) close out the poll in the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth places, respectively.

Regis begins their season on Friday, Aug. 30 when they welcome Mount Ida for a 4:00 p.m. non-conference game.
