PRIDE FALL TO GULLS 2-0

Weston, Mass.--- The Regis College men's soccer team was defeated by Endicott College Saturday (Oct. 9) by the score of 2-0.  The Pride moves to 3-9-1 overall on the season and 0-7-1 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The visiting Gulls move to 3-7-1 overall on the season and are 3-4 in TCCC play.

The first goal of the game was scored by the Gulls Jared Rizzo (Peabody, Mass. / Peabody) who was able to get a shot off that dribbled into the back of the net past the Pride's goalkeeper Ryne Tilman (Bedford, Mass/Bridgton Academy).  The second goal of the game was scored when Kevin Ivester (Topsfield, Mass. / Masconomet)  was able to connect on a pass from Chris Serpa (Bristol, R.I. / Mount Hope) to find the back of the net.

The Pride continued to play aggressive and move the ball into the Gulls offensive end.  This attack was not enough as the Gulls goalkeeper Daniel Higgins (Kingstown, R.I. / South Kingstown) prevented the Pride from scoring all game.  The Pride's Nick Tavares (Bellingham, Mass/Bellingham) led the team with two shots on goal.

The Pride is set to play Nichols College Thursday (Oct. 14) at Nichols College. The game time is set for 3:30 pm.

The Gulls are set to play Curry College Wednesday (Oct.13) at home. The game is set to start at 7:30 pm.
