MEN'S SOCCER ENDS IN OVERTIME THRILLER

WESTON, Mass.—Ari Sinanis received a pass from the midfield, and sped down the right side of the pitch to finish with the game-winning goal in the back left corner of the net. Sinanis lifted Lesley to its fourth win of the season, and a 2-1 overtime defeat of Regis College.

Lesley (4-0) held Regis College (2-2) scoreless until the 72-minute when Josh Fidalgo (Dorchester, Mass.) scored on a header that ricocheted off the right post. The Lynx have held its previous three opponents to just one goal.
With a score on the board, Regis went on the defensive, while Lesley stepped up its attack. Repeated shots at the Regis goal finally paid off when Tyler Reeves slid in a shot under Tillman at 79:48 to tie the match.
Each team would play out regulation with the scored tied. Regis went on the attack early; taking repeated shots at the Lesley net. Keeper Zach Almeida-Beers registered two saves versus Regis. Tillman had 15 saves for the Pride.
In the 103-minute Sinanis made his break for the Regis net, striking with the right foot, and putting his shot best the outstretched hands of Tillman. His goal would end the sudden death period with Lesley taking a 2-1 lead, and the win.
