TIMOTHY HINCHEY COMMITS TO MEN'S SOCCER

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College men’s soccer team announced another fall commitment for the 2011 season. The Pride men's soccer coaching staff is proud to publicize that Timothy Hinchey (Philadelphia, PA/ Roman Catholic High School) will be playing for the Pride this fall. 

 The 6'4" 180 lb central midfielder is “a smooth playmaker that will give us more flexibility at the midfield position.” stated the Pride coaching staff. Hinchey increases the team’s ability to control the center of the field. Hinchey was a starter at Roman Catholic High School and plays for the Nationally Ranked FC Bucks Strikers. He was also a three year player for United Junior Soccer League Select Team (Philadelphia’s City All-Star Team)

 Off the field Hinchey currently carries a 3.8 grade point average and is a four year honor student. Tim is involved in various activities outside of soccer. He is a member of the Junior Ancient Order of Hibernians, a school ambassador, a member of the ceremony crew (an altar server for the bishop), and a member of the Big Brothers Program. In addition he is also a licensed Grade 8 FIFA Referee and regularly involved in a number of community service programs in Philadelphia.
