Sam Jean-Gilles returns to his alma mater as an assistant coach starting in the 2023-24 academic year.

Jean-Gilles is currently fourth on the Regis all-time scoring list with 1,149 career points, second on the all-time rebounding list with 650 career rebounds, fifth on the all-time assists list with 182 career assists, and fourth on the Pride career steals list with 115 steals from 2013 to 2017. He was voted the 2014 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Year as well as 2015 First Team All-NECC, helping the Pride win the NECC Tournament and advance to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament. He played on the Haitian National Basketball Team in the 2016 Ball for a Cause International Tournament in Albany, N.Y.

After graduating from Regis with a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management, he coached within the Melrose public school system as the 6th grade head coach as well as the varsity and junior varsity assistant coach in 2017-18. He then became an independent personal basketball trainer in 2018, assessing customers' basketball strengths and weaknesses and creating customer-specific basketball drills and workout programs.

Jean-Gilles is a USA Basketball Gold License Certified Coach and registered with the NCAA Basketball certification system.
