Bio

As a senior: Phil started in all 27 games for Regis.  He scored 275 points, totaling 1006 total in his career.  He had a field goal average of 42.2, averaging 10.2 points per game. He also tallied 55 assists.  A huge part of the Pride defense, Alibrandi recorded a team-high 156 rebounds, as well as 25 steals.

As a junior: Alibrandi started and played in all 25 games for the Pride. He recorded a 11.3 points per game average and led the team in rebounds averaged with 5.4 per game. Phil tallied season-high 34 points against Anna Maria (2/20/10).

As a sophomore: Started in 22 of 24 total games this season. Alibrandi was 46 percent from the field, 69 percent from the charity stripe, averaged 4.8 rebounds per game, contributed with 31 assist and 21 steals on the season. Phil averaged 7.5 points per game…on three occasions Alibrandi led the team in scoring, including a 21 point loss to Western New England College…he also pulled down game-high in rebounds six times including 10 rebounds against Western New England College.

As a freshman: Started in all 25 contests. Alibrandi was 42 percent from the field, was a 70 percent free throw shooter, 6.7 rebounds and 2 assist per game. Phil averaged 10.7 points per game. Phil was named TCCC Rookie of the Week (1-6-08) and was also named 2008-2009 MVP…in four contests Alibrandi achieved game-high in points including two times he scored 21 points against Westfield State and Gordon College…Phil showed his strength on the board eleven times including loss to Curry College with 13 rebounds grabbed.

High School: Phil was a member of the McDonalds All-Maine.  He was also honored as his team MVP, and was recognized as All-Western Maine 1st team.

Personal: His hobbies include playing and watching basketball. His life goal is to become a teacher while coaching basketball. His favorite athlete is Kevin Garnett (Minnesota), noted before going to Boston. His favorite food is chicken wings, and his favorite quote is “This aint golf, this ain’t tennis, it takes 5.”—Kevin Garnett.
