HAYTHE TO JOIN MEN'S BASKETBALL PROGRAM

Weston, Mass.—Regis College head Coach Nathan Hager recently announced that Sean Haythe (Danielson, Conn.) would be joining the men’s basketball team this upcoming fall.

“We get a welcomed addition,” commented Hager. Haythe played high school basketball for head coach Dan Piccone at H.H. Ellis Tech.

As a senior, Haythe was named as an All-Constitution State Conference First Team member, as well as an All-Norwich Bulletin standout. He averaged 12.7 points per game and 11.4 rebounds per game is his senior year.

“Sean loves to do the dirty work,” said Hager. “He has an extremely high basketball IQ,” Hager continued.

Haythe posted a higher point per game average in his junior year, averaging 14.7 PPG, and was named as a conference honorable mention. In both his junior and senior seasons Haythe was named as an all-tournament selection in the Clipper Classic Tournament.

Haythe has been a three-year member of the National Honor Society, and voted student of the year at H.H. Ellis Tech. He intends to study law and government at Regis.

Haythe is the son of Crawford and Jane Haythe.
