Schneiderman Named to GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its postseason awards for field hockey Tuesday, and junior Hannah Schneiderman (Manchester, N.H.) has been named to the GNAC Field Hockey All-Sportsmanship Team.

Schneiderman started all 12 matches she appeared in during the 2021 season, playing a defensive role for the Pride. She picked up a defensive save at Colby-Sawyer Oct. 17 and helped Regis post a shutout of Dean College Oct. 20.

During the 2019 season, Schneiderman appeared in 16 matches, including 13 starts, as Regis advanced to the semifinals of the GNAC Tournament. She earned her first career defensive save in a home contest against Manhattanville and was part of four Pride shutouts during the year.

"Hannah is incredibly deserving of this placement on the All-Sportsmanship Team. As a strong competitor and shutdown defender, she plays the game the right way and shows respect for her opponents, officials, and teammates in every situation," interim co-head coach Courtney Duggan said.

Regis College picked up victories over Anna Maria, Dean, and Albertus Magnus in October to finish the 2021 season at 3-10 overall, including 3-8 within the GNAC.
