FRANKLIN, Mass. – Regis College enjoyed its best offensive output of the season, as four different players scored goals to give the Pride a 4-0 victory over Dean College Wednesday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference field hockey match at Grant Field.

The Pride opened the scoring 3:25 into the first when sophomore Ashley Monteiro (Atkinson, N.H.) took a shot near the top of the circle that was redirected into the back of the cage by first-year player Isabella Celli (Pembroke, Mass.).

In the second period, first-year player Frankie Alley (Gardner, Mass.) doubled the Pride lead with her team-leading third goal of the season. Regis added a goal in the third period off the stick of sophomore Olivia Bell (Mechanic Falls, Maine) and one in the fourth period from sophomore Sarah Juskiewicz (Gorham, Maine).

The Pride outshot the Bulldogs, 14-4, including nine shots on goal. In addition, Regis drew 12 penalty corners, its highest single-game total of the season. Alley led the Pride with four total shots, followed by Bell with three shots.

Pride goalie Jocelyn White (Wilmington, Mass.) earned her first career shutout, needing to make one save in the second period to keep the Bulldogs off the board. Dean goalie Gabbie Taynor made four saves for the Bulldogs, with Zoe Coleman helping her with a defensive save in the third period.
