ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Regis (Mass.) sophomore Aineen Callahan (Diamond Point, N.Y.) added to impressive resume this morning when she was named the New England Collegiate Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week.

A three-time Rookie of the Week selection and First Team All-Conference last season, Callahan scored in both of the Pride's games this week. After tallying a goal in the Pride's 3-2 loss to Rivier on Thursday, Callahan netted a first half equalizer in what amounted to a 3-2 penalty shootout victory. The win was the Pride's first of the season.

In four games this season, Callahan leads the Pride with three goals and 12 shots, 11 of which have landed on goal.

The Pride next take to the field on Thursday when they travel to Framingham State for a non-conference battle with the Rams at 4:00 p.m.
