INTRODUCING FIELD HOCKEY'S CLASS OF 2019

WESTON, Mass. – Head coach Nikki Panciocco and the Regis College field hockey team are proud to announce their class of 2019, featuring nine freshman and one transfer for this season.

Yvonne Abate is a defender from Easton, Mass. where she attended Oliver Ames High School. She has been a starter on her varsity team for four years and helped lead her team to the Hockomock League title this past season. She has played club for the New England Strikers for the past five years and plans to major in Nuclear Medicine.

Aineen Callahan is a forward/midfielder from Diamond Point, N.Y. where she attended Warrensburg Junior/Senior High School. She made the varsity team as a freshman, and as a junior, she was named a Second-Team Area All-Star. As a senior, she was named a First Team Area All-Star as well as the Offensive MVP. Aineen will be majoring in Nursing.

Mackenzie Cattaruzza is a forward from Guilford, Conn. where she attended Guilford High School. She played four years for her high school varsity team. During her junior and senior year she tallied 12 goals and 9 assists and in 2014, was a 2014 Co-Captain as well as the Offensive MVP of her team. Mackenzie intends to major in Exercise Science.

Julie Flateau is a transfer from Roger Williams University. Originally from Waltham, Mass., Julie played three years on the varsity team at Waltham High School. Julie will be majoring in Psychology.

Kiana Koke is a defender from Queensbury, N.Y. where she attended Queensbury High School. She is a dual sport athlete in both field hockey and lacrosse. Kiana will be majoring in Nuclear Medicine.

Celsea Leclair is a midfielder from Bellingham, Mass. where she attended Mount Saint Charles High School. She will be playing both field hockey and softball. Celsea intends to major in Nursing.

Alycia Leconche is a forward from Simsbury, Conn. where she attended Simsbury High School. She has been a starter on her varsity team for four years. A captain her senior year, she tallied 10 goals and 4 assists. She has been a member of HTC Field Hockey Club since 8th grade. Alycia will be majoring in Nursing.

Erin Moore is a goalie from Rosedale, Md. where she attended the Institute of Notre Dame High School. She was a four year varsity starter and in her senior year, she tallied an 87.4% save percentage as well as 136 saves. She received the Unsung Hero Award among all senior athletes. Erin will be majoring in Nursing.

Jeszy McGuire is a forward from Brimfield, Mass. where she attended Tantasqua Regional High School. As a three year varsity starter, she tallied an impressive 38 goals and 17 assists. As a junior, she was named a Southern Worcester County League (SWCL) All-Star, and as a senior, she was named an SWCL All-Star as well as a Central Massachusetts All-Star. A dual sport athlete in field hockey and softball, Jeszy will be majoring in Nursing.

Allie Petillo is a midfielder from Sayville, N.Y. where she attended Sayville High School. A three year varsity starter, she help lead her team to County's her junior year. Allie will be playing both field hockey and softball as well as majoring in Nursing.

The Regis College Field Hockey team kicks off its 2015 season on Tuesday, September 1st with a home match against Framingham State at 4:00 p.m.
