HECK ADDS ECAC WEEKLY HONOR

WESTON, Mass. - In addition to being named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week on Monday, junior goalkeeper Raegan Heck (Phillipston, Mass.) has been named the ECAC Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced on Wednesday night by the ECAC.

Heck allowed only one goal in two NECC Tournament games, including 100 minutes of shutout action in the Championship against Elms. She either saved or forced misses on four of five penalty strokes to decide the title game. In 170 minutes of action in the two games Heck made eight saves and allowed only the one goal on her way to being named the NECC Tournament MVP.

On Wednesday, Heck made 11 saves in the Pride's first NCAA Tournament game in a 6-0 setback to #6 Franklin & Marshall College.
