HECK EARNS SECOND NECC WEEKLY HONOR

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College junior goaltender Raegan Heck (Phillipston, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in field hockey, it was announced Monday morning.

This is the second time she has received Player of the Week honors this season

Heck started in goal during the Prides September 27th 4-1 non-conference loss to Clark University. The goalie made 16 saves during the defeat which was her second highest save total of the season. On the year, Heck ranks first in the conference in save percentage (.825), goals against (18) and goals against average (2.32). Heck also ranks fifth in saves (85).

The Pride return to action on Wednesday October 1st, when Regis welcomes Rivier College for a non-conference matchup with game-time slated for 7:30 p.m.
