FIELD HOCKEY VOLUNTEERS AT JIMMY FUND WALK

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College field hockey team volunteered at the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk on Sunday, September 21st in Ashland, Mass.

The team was located at the Ashland State Park and members of the team handed out Water/Gatorade and snacks as well as cheering on the walkers that were walking 26.2 miles for the Jimmy Fund.

The Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai raises the most money of any single-day walk in the nation and has raised nearly $95 million for the fight against cancer since 1989. Participants in the walk fundraise for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's lifesaving mission to conquer all forms of cancer in children and adults.
