LISA LEVIERGE NAMED AS TCCC REPRESENTATIVE OF NCAA REGIONAL COMMITTEE

Weston, Mass.—Regis College two-sport head coach Lisa LeVierge was announced as The Commonwealth Coast Conference representative of the NCAA New England East Regional Ranking Committee Wednesday.

LeVierge coaches field hockey and softball for Regis College. Conference representatives are nominated and chosen by other coaches in the conference.

“Lisa has a willingness to serve,” said Cory Ward, head coach of field hockey at Gordon College. “Lisa is someone we see as confident, hard working, and has a vision to see the CCC be a competitive conference from top to bottom.”

As a committee member LeVierge is expected to rank and cast her vote for teams, and opponents in an objective manner.

LeVierge will enter her second year at Regis College this fall when field hockey begins its preseason preparation in August. LeVierge was a former player at Nichols College, a Regis College opponent, where she excelled in field hockey and softball for the Bison. LeVierge lettered in both sports, and won the Female Senior Athlete of the Year award.
