Outlook:
Maria Mendes was voted Captain by her teammates for two reasons;
hard work, and her leadership qualities. This senior offers
non-stop energy on the field in practice and games, and is the most
versatile player on the Regis roster. Maria has played every
position but goalie, her athletic ability make her a valuable asset
to the Pride, no matter where she is playing. Maria is an attacker
at heart, and will return to the forward line this season for the
Pride, as her speed and aggressive style of play make her a tough
attacker to defend for opposing teams. Look for big things from
this small in stature member of the Pride, as this senior Captain
looks to lead the pack into Tournament-time come November.
