Ron LeClair enters his seventh year as the Assistant Athletic Director and Head Athletic Trainer at Regis College in 2023-24.

Besides his work overseeing the sports medicine office, LeClair serves as a liaison with the Regis College Office of Health Services. In the spring of 2023, he received the Life Saver Award from the Regis College Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment. 

LeClair came to Regis from Brandeis University, where he was the Assistant Athletic Trainer/Strength & Conditioning Coach, assisting in the development and coordination of the strength and conditioning programs for the department's 17 sports. He was also instrumental in the development of the department policies and procedures manual including updating concussion protocols and reviewing emergency action plans.

LeClair also brings Division I experience to the position, having spent seven years as an athletic trainer at the University of Miami. During his tenure with the Hurricanes, he worked with rowing, football and baseball as a graduate assistant before becoming the full-time ATC for women's soccer (2006-2007), baseball (2006-2011), and the cheer and dance squads (2007-2011). He also had a brief stint as the women's volleyball ATC in 2011. LeClair would go on to earn his master's degree in sport administration from Miami.

A native of Rochester, N.H., he earned a bachelor of science degree, Cum Laude, in athletic training from Northeastern University in 2002. Before leaving New England for Miami, LeClair worked two stints with the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots (2001-02; 2003-04) and was also the Assistant Athletic Trainer at St. Sebastian's School in Needham, Mass. (2002-2004).

LeClair is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), passing his NATABOC exam in 2002. He has been an NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2012 and an ASOP Registered Orthopedic Technician (ROT) since 2011, plus he earned a Mental Performance Mastery (MPM) Coaching Certification through Brian Cain Peak Performance in 2021.
