Erin Murphy '22 returns to the Regis College softball program as a volunteer assistant coach starting in the 2024-25 season.

Murphy brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the program. A former student-athlete for the Regis College softball team, she played in 75 games as a four-year starter and served as team captain in her senior year in 2022. Murphy had her best season as a senior, recording 24 hits, including nine doubles, which ranks eighth in the program’s history for doubles in a single season. She also registered 14 RBIs. A nursing major, Murphy earned GNAC All-Academic honors in 2020, 2021, and 2022, and was a four-year member of Regis' Student Athletic Advisory Committee. She graduated in May of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

After graduation, Murphy began her coaching career with the Raiders organization in the summer of 2022, coaching the 18u team, before joining the Plex Softball Club 18u team in the fall of 2024.

In addition to coaching, Murphy currently works as a registered nurse
