Bio
Cassie Woods has taken on the role as recruiting coordinator for the Regis College softball program in the 2025 season.
Woods brings extensive playing and coaching experience to the program, having previously coached the 18u CT Green Devils in 2019 and the 18u CT Diamond Zone in 2021 and 2022, where she mentored and developed young athletes.
A graduate of Keene State College with an undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science, Woods played for the softball team from 2018 to 2020, earning First Team All-Conference honors in 2019. She then transferred to Eastern Connecticut State University to pursue a master’s in Accounting. During her time there, Woods was named First Team All-Conference, First Team All-New England, Second Team All-American, and led the nation in hits in 2022 while playing a significant role in helping the team reach the Division III Women’s College World Series.
In 2023, Woods teamed up with Pride Head Coach Carolyn Biel and transferred to Trine University, where she earned a degree in Organizational Leadership and played a pivotal part in the team’s national championship victory, picking up First Team All-Conference, All-Region, and World Series All-Tournament Team accolades, capping off a successful playing career.
In addition to coaching, Woods works as an accountant but is excited to being working with the Regis College Softball Program.
