WESTON, Mass. - In each of the past six years, Regis College student-athletes performing well academically have been invited to the Academic Excellence Ceremony to be recognized for their accomplishments by University administration, faculty, and staff. Plans were well underway to gather once again Tuesday, April 14, in College Hall Foyer, but unfortunately those arrangements were forced to be cancelled due to the conditions surrounding the current COVID-19 pandemic. 

As part of Regis' celebration of NCAA Division III Week, the athletic administration is proud to honor the 105 student-athletes listed below who would have been invited to this year's Academic Excellence Ceremony. These student-athletes, currently sophomores, juniors, and seniors, have maintained a 3.2 cumulative grade point average through the Fall 2019 semester.

"At Regis College, we take great pride in our Educator Model of Athletics, and as such, in our consistent support of our student-athletes in all of their academic pursuits. These student-athletes have demonstrated excellence in the classroom and in a competitive athletic environment, and we are very proud of every one on this list," Pam Roecker, Dean of Athletics, said. "This recognition is even more impressive when you consider the campus leadership, community service, internships, clinicals, and jobs they are involved with throughout the year. We applaud their effort and honor the fact that they have achieved this success while being supportive teammates, classmates, and family members too!"

Regis College sponsors 20 intercollegiate sports as a member of NCAA Division III and the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
