BOSTON, Mass. - Freshman runner Maddie Boucias (Buckland, Mass.) had herself quite an outing, leading the Regis (Mass.) women's cross country team with a third-place finish out of 167 runners at the Saints Invitational on Friday at Franklin Park.

Boucias ran the 5K in 20:03 with Sarah Backholm (Sutton, Mass.) the second Pride runner to cross the tape. She finished with a time of 21:56 good for 39th place.

Shane Romanchick (Trumbull, Conn.) was the top finisher on the Pride in the men's 8K, finishing 50th with a time of 28:46. Kyle Gillen-Hughes (Reading, Mass.) placed second on the Pride and 60th overall with a personal best time of 29:13.

Overall, the Pride women placed 10th with the men's team finishing 13th in the team standings. Norwich finished first in both the men's and women's competitions to sweep the event which showcased 18 womens teams and 22 mens teams.
