REGIS RUNS AT UMASS DARTMOUTH INVITE

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Regis College cross country teams returned to the trails on Saturday afternoon as the Pride took part in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational in Dartmouth, Mass.

On the women's side, Andrea O'Hearn (Pelham, N.H.) was the top finisher for the Pride as she finished the 5K race in 21:03.69. Molly Curtin (Brockton, Mass.) finished just behind her at 21:32.93, with Siobhan McLaughlin (Derry, N.H.) running the race in 21:51.87.

Sarah Backholm (Sutton, Mass.) posted a time of 23:53.11, while Rachel Wood (Manchester, N.H.) and Vanessa Avard (Manchester, N.H.) finished right behind each other at 24:47.39 and 26:02.44, respectively.

For the men, Stephen McCall (Brockton, Mass.) posted the top time for Regis with a time of 28:02.21. Classmate Shane Romanchick (Trumbull, Conn.) finished the five mile race in 28:42.30, while Sam Mildrum (Hingham, Mass.) ran 29:34.19. Matt Norton (Weymouth, Mass.) rounded out the top finishes for Regis with a time of 30:23.13.

The Pride return to action next Saturday when they travel to Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. for the Codfish Bowl starting at 10:00 a.m.
