MCLAUGHLIN, MILDRUM LEAD PRIDE AT SAINTS INVITE

BOSTON, Mass. - The Regis College men's and women's cross country teams participated in the Saints Invitational hosted by Emmanuel College on Friday afternoon in Boston, Mass. Both teams finished 12th in their respective races.

For the men, current New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week Sam Mildrum (Hingham, Mass.) was the top finisher for Regis, coming in 39th place with a time of 29:07. Matt Norton (Weymouth, Mass.) was the other top finisher, finishing the course in 29:38. Matt Mona (Barkhampsted, Conn.), Owen McQuaid (Marlboro, Mass.), Sean LaPrise (Medford, Mass.), and Jeremy Israel (Randolph, Mass.) posted solid finishes as well.

Siobhan McLaughlin (Derry, N.H.) posted the best time for the Pride women, coming in 29th place with a time of 21:51. Mikayla Mooney (Guilford, Conn.) finished the course in 23:28, coming in 60th out of the 157 runner field. Alexa Lucas (Melrose, Mass.), Rachel Wood (Manchester, N.H.), and Diana Tran (Somerville, Mass.) all finished within two minutes of each other.

Both teams are back in action on November 1 when the two teams partake in the NECC Championships at Westfield State Park starting at 10:00 a.m.
