Shelagh Dolan will serve as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's volleyball programs.

Dolan comes to the pride after spending the 2013 season at Suffolk University, where she helped the Rams earn their first GNAC playoff berth since 2006. She has served as an assistant coach the last two years for SMASH Volleyball Club out of Newton, and has worked volleyball camps at Bentley University and Boston College.

As a player, Dolan was a three-year starter at Providence College after spending her freshman year at Quinnipiac University. At middle blocker for the Friars, she was among the leaders on her team in kills, hitting percentage and blocks every year.

Originally from Westford, Mass., Dolan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence with a major in Spanish and a minor in Writing. She graduated with Cum Laude Honors and was a member of the Phi Sigma Iota International Foreign Language Society, Sigma Delta Pi National Spanish Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma Student-Athlete Honor Society, as well as earning selection to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

During her time at Regis, she will be pursuing her Master's Degree in Professional Writing for New Media.
