The early part of the second set was close, with the Falcons pulling ahead 10-8 on consecutive kills by Chyna Carter. Regis scored six straight points, led by Butt with two kills and a block assist, but Fisher came right back with four unanswered points, featuring two more kills by Carter. The Pride took the lead for good with a 7-1 scoring run, including three kills from Veasey, and then closed out the set on a kill by Erin Gallagher (Tyngsboro, Mass.).

Fisher only cut its deficit down to four before Regis finished off the set and the match with a 7-3 scoring run, capped by a kill from Julia Pelland (Brockton, Mass.).

Catala and Carter led the Falcon offense with eight kills apiece, Natie Manalo paced the team with 14 assists and 14 digs, and Lia Aime contributed 10 assists and 10 digs. Fisher will continue a stretch of three matches in three nights by facing Simmons Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m.
