ENDARA POWERS PRIDE PAST AMCATS 3-0

PAXTON, Mass.- The Regis College women's volleyball team defeated Anna Maria College 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-13) Wednesday night at the Fuller Activities Center. The Pride moves to 4-7 overall on the season while the Amcats drop to 2-7 on the season.

The Pride was led by Julie Endara (Boca Raton, Fla.) who jump started the offense notching a team high of 14 kills. Caitlyn Walsh (Taunton, Mass.) helped set up the Pride's attack chipping in with 17 assists on the game.

The Pride's defense was led by Vanessa Noesi (Methuen, Mass.), Kristen Amicangioli (Belmont, Mass.), and Jackie Silver (West Hills, Calif.) who combined for a total of four blocks in the match. Sophomore Sara Gold (North Hollywood, Calif.) solidified the Pride's defense by capping eight digs on the game.

The AMCATS were paced by sophomore Amanda Glennon (Easton, Mass.) who had a game high 13 digs in the loss. Senior Alicia Bonneau (Worcester, Mass.) also played well, dishing-out a 9 assists, while sophomore Alex Rodriguez (Puerto Rico, PR) had 5 kills, 9 digs and 4 aces on the night.

The Crimson and Gold will return to action this Friday when they travel to Cambridge, Massachusetts to take on the Engineers from MIT. The Amcats next matchup is this Saturday when they take on the Falcons from Albertus Magnus College at 11:00 a.m.
