2021-22 Senior Spotlight - Women’s Tennis

WESTON, Mass. – Prior to the Sept. 25 home match against Simmons University, the seniors on the women's tennis team were recognized for their significant contributions to the Pride program.

Lauren Mogelnicki (Wethersfield, Conn.) has compiled 29 singles victories and 28 doubles wins during her collegiate playing career at Regis. In the fall of 2019, she went 9-1 in singles and 10-1 in doubles as the Pride advanced to the semifinals of the GNAC Tournament. She was named GNAC Player of the Week Sept. 20 after victories over Salem State and Albertus Magnus. Mogelnicki received Second Team All-GNAC and GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team honors in October 2021. She is a two-time Academic All-GNAC selection and a 2020-21 ITA Scholar-Athlete honoree. Mogelnicki graduated in May with her bachelor's degree in elementary education.

Katelyn Mogelnicki (Wethersfield, Conn.) has earned 32 career singles victories, tied for ninth all-time in program history, and 32 doubles wins, seventh on the Regis all-time list. In her first year, she teamed with Carly Donovan and accumulated 12 doubles wins, tied for sixth for all-time wins by a doubles duo. In the fall of 2019, she was a perfect 10-0 in singles on her way to First Team All-GNAC recognition. Mogelnicki collected First Team All-GNAC honors again this past season after going 5-1 in conference play from the number one singles position. She wrapped up the spring 2022 season with singles victories in three of her last four matches. Mogelnicki earned her bachelor's degree in sports management.

Kaeleigh FitzPatrick (South Windsor, Conn.) was a consistent contributor to the success of the Pride, starting as Regis's representative on the GNAC Women's Tennis All-Sportsmanship Team in the fall of 2018. She earned 23 career singles victories and 21 career doubles wins. In the fall of 2019, she posted an 8-2 singles record as the team once again contended for the GNAC title. During the 2021-22 season, FitzPatrick collected nine singles victories and nine doubles wins, including a perfect 5-0 singles record and a 4-1 doubles mark during the GNAC regular season. She is a 2020-21 ITA Scholar-Athlete honoree and a two-time Academic All-GNAC selection. FitzPatrick received her bachelor's degree in nursing.

Kaitlyn Colby (Merrimac, Mass.) joined the program in the spring of 2019 and accumulated 18 singles victories and 19 doubles wins during her collegiate career. During the fall 2019 season, she posted a 4-0 record in singles and a 10-1 mark in doubles. She was selected as Regis's representative on the GNAC Women's Tennis All-Sportsmanship Team in the fall of 2019. This past season, she earned Second Team All-GNAC honors after finishing with a 4-2 singles record in regular season league play, plus she clinched the team's GNAC Tournament first round match against Albertus Magnus. A two-time Academic All-GNAC selection and a 2020-21 ITA Scholar-Athlete honoree, Colby received her bachelor's degree in nursing.

Ori Attridge (Westwood, Mass.) joined the tennis squad for the spring season each year after competing for the Regis soccer team in the fall. In the spring of 2019, she was part of victorious doubles sets March 27 against Wentworth and April 7 against UMass Boston. Attridge is a two-time Academic All-GNAC selection and a 2020-21 ITA Scholar-Athlete honoree, plus she received the Leadership in Athletics Award and the Senior Leadership and Service Award from the Division of Student Affairs. She graduated in May with her bachelor's degree in biology.

The Regis College women's tennis team advanced to the championship match of the GNAC Tournament after defeating Albertus Magnus and Simmons. Overall, the Pride collected 10 victories during the 2021-22 campaign.
