KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Regis College women's soccer team showed its excellence in the classroom during the 2017-18 academic year, earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the second straight year and for the 11th time in program history, as the national organization released the list of award winners Thursday.

Under head coach Mike Webber, the Pride posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.53. Regis is one of five women's soccer programs representing the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in receiving the award, along with Emmanuel (3.43), Johnson & Wales (3.51), Simmons (3.64), and Suffolk (3.50), with the Pride having the second-highest GPA in the league behind only the Sharks.
