Drake Named GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. - For the first time this season, freshman goalkeeper Kyrsten Drake (Loganville, Ga.) of the Regis (Mass.) women's soccer team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week. The announcement came from the league office on Monday afternoon.

Drake made 16 saves and allowed just two goals in three games this week, leading the Pride to a 2-1 record. Drake's highlight performance of the week came on Tuesday, when she recorded her second shutout of the season in a conference win over Rivier to lead off the week. She finished the week with a .67 goals against average and .889 save percentage. 

Drake and the Pride will close out their season on Tuesday evening when the team travels to Framingham State for a matchup against the Rams. Kick off for the season finale is slated for 4:00 p.m.
