REGIS WINS THIRD STRAIGHT WITH SHUTOUT OF DWC

NASHUA, N.H. – The Regis women's soccer team posted a 2-0 victory over host Daniel Webster on Monday at Eagle Field in a New England Collegiate Conference matchup.

Adena Joseph (Stoughton, Mass.) paced the Pride (5-5-1, 2-1-1 NECC) with a goal and assist while Kristen Abreu (Woburn, Mass.) added a solo score. Jackie Rocheville (Salem, Mass.) notched an assist. Joseph put the visitors on the board in the 17th minute while Abreu upped it to 2-0 in the 31st.

Kerry Hager (Wolcott, Conn.) made eight saves in the DWC net, while Regis' Rachel Gagnon (Ashford, Conn.) earned the win in goal for the Pride.

Regis finished with 10 shots on goal and outshot Daniel Webster, 30-2. Abigail Goslin had two shots for DWC (0-10, 0-4 NECC).

The Pride will host NECC-leading Lesley University on Saturday afternoon in a 1:00 p.m. NECC game.
