WINTHROP, Mass. - For the first time of the 2017-18 season, Regis (Mass.) women's basketball senior Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week while also being named to the New England Women's Basketball Association Weekly Honor Roll.
Stone posted her second straight double-double in a road loss to reigning MASCAC champion Westfield State last week. The senior scored 33 points on 72.7% (16-22 FG) shooting overall to go with a career-high 23 rebounds. She also blocked three shots in 36 minutes of action.
Stone and the rest of the Pride will return to action on Wednesday night when Regis hosts Keene State at 6:00 p.m. at Higgins Court.
