WESTON, Mass. - For the third time this season, junior Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.) of the Regis (Mass.) women's basketball team has been named to the New England Women's Basketball Association Weekly Honor Roll.

The announcement came on Monday afternoon just minutes after Stone was named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Year.

Stone averaged 20.0 points per game over three games last week as the Pride marched through the NECC Tournament last week, culminating in the program's fifth consecutive conference title on Saturday. Stone's top performance of the tournament came in the semifinals, when the junior scored 25 points on 12-for-14 shooting to lead Regis to a 66-45 win over Wheelock. Stone was named the NECC Tournament Most Valuable Player for her efforts.

Stone earns her third NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll nod, while she also received NEWBA Player of the Week earlier this season.
