MARRO, BRADLEY SELECTED FOR NEWBA SENIOR ALL-STAR CLASSIC

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College women's basketball seniors Emilee Marro (Bedford, N.H.) and Janaya Bradley (New Haven, Conn.) have been selected to participate in the 2015 New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Senior All-Star Classic. The game will be played on Saturday, March 28, at Smith College in Northampton, Mass.

This is the second consecutive year a member of the Pride has been selected to participate in the game. Claire Ramonas represented the Pride last year and scored two points as her NEWBA Dark team beat the NEWBA Light squad 76-74.

Marro and Bradley helped lead the Pride to a 22-6 record this season that included a third-straight New England Collegiate Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament bid. Marro wrapped up her senior season by securing her second consecutive NECC Tournament MVP award by averaging 11.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game. Bradley, who earned All-NECC Second Team honors, finished the year averaging 12.4 points per game on 42.3% shooting while recording 3.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.9 steals and 0.9 blocks per contest.

Marro ends her storied career with four All-NECC selections and ranking third in program history in scoring with 1,358 career points. She also ranks sixth in three-pointers converted (76), fifth in career assists (321), sixth in steals (213) and fourth in games played (109).

Bradley wraps up her collegiate career by ranking 11th on the All-Time Scoring leaders list with 1,044 points, seventh in most three-pointers made (73), fifth in career free throw percentage (74.7%), sixth in career blocks (66) and ranks first in career games played (111). She also knocked down seven three-pointers at Bay Path on February 5, 2015 which were the most three-balls converted in program history in a single game.
