WESTON, Mass. - For the third time this season, Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.) has been named the Corvias ECAC Rookie of the Week. Stone shares the honor with Ashley Thompson (Bellingham, Mass.).

Stone was a rebounding machine in the NECC Championship game grabbing 18 caroms (15 in the first half alone). She had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds in the Pride's semi-final win over Mitchell College, and added six points to go along with her rebounding total in the championship. Stone also added four blocks during the week with three coming in the title game. Stone led Regis averaging a team-high 15.0 points while shooting an NECC best 55.3% from the field while hauling in 9.2 rebounds and swatted 1.3 shots per game.

Brittany Stone and the Pride travel to Montclair State University for the NCAA Tournament's First Round on Friday night at 6:00 p.m.
