CLAIRE RAMONAS PLAYS IN NEWBA SENIOR ALL-STAR GAME

WESTON, Mass. - Senior women's basketball player Claire Ramonas (Portland, Maine) participated in the New England Women's Basketball Association's 2014 Senior All-Star Game on Saturday afternoon held on the campus of Smith College. Ramonas was one of 22 players chosen from throughout the New England region.

Ramonas only scored two points in the game, but her NEWBA Dark team squeaked out a 76-74 victory over the NEWBA Light team.

Over her stellar career, Ramonas was a three-time All-NECC selection that included a Second Team nod this season. The Pride have posted an 83-28 mark in her four years with the team, qualifying for the postseason every season.

Statistically, Ramonas ranks third all-time in scoring with 1,243 points, first in career field goal percentage at 53.4%, ninth all-time in rebounds (716), fifth in both blocks (60) and steals (226), and is second all-time in games played with 110.
