WESTON, Mass. – Regis College senior pitcher Katie Cuozzo (Lynn, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week in Softball; it was announced on Monday afternoon.

Cuozzo help lead the Pride to a 3-3 split of their spring break trip in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The senior right hander started on the mound in three contests posting a 2-1 record in 19.0 innings with a 2.58 ERA and 16 strikeouts. Cuozzo finished each game she started, earning three complete games.

The Pride will return to action this Friday, March 18th when the Crimson and Gold travel to Newbury for a double-header with games at 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.
