Game One – Lesley University 12, Regis College 4 (5 INN)
Lesley jumped out to an early lead, scoring four runs during the first inning of the contest. Mekenzi Golden (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) opened up the scoring with an RBI double that plated Selena Quezada (West Covina, Calif.).

Courtney Goggin (Cheshire, Conn.) followed with an RBI single to right center that plated Golden. Kelsey Lynch (Rumford, R.I.) ended the scoring binge with an RBI single to centerfield.

Regis cut the deficit to three when Kirbie Garvey (Littleton, Mass.) stroked a single to left field that plated Rachel DesRochers (Westford, Mass.).

During the top half of the second Lesley added three more runs. Golden doubled to centerfield to drive in Selena Quezada. A few batters later Jillian Sbardella (Dartmouth, Mass.) roped a single to left field that scored Golden and Allison Fountain, as the Lynx built up a 7-1 lead.

The Pride got another run in the bottom half of the third as a Kirbie Garvey sacrifice fly to left field plated Rachel DesRochers for the second time and cut the deficit to 7-2.

Lesley added four runs in the top of the fifth and the Pride got two back in the bottom half of the inning but it wasn't enough as Regis fell 12-4

Jillian Sbardella went 2-for-3 with four RBI for the Lynx while Allison Fountain went 3-for-3 with two RBI and four run scored. Pitcher Jordan Thomas (Fitchburg, Mass.) threw five innings, allowed four runs (three earned), six hits and four strikeouts.

Game Two – Lesley University 10, Regis College 3
The Pride struck first in the second game as base hits from DesRochers and Cuozzo followed by a miscue from Lesley gave the Pride a bases loaded situation with only one out. Jess Perez (Lynn, Mass.) roped a single to centerfield to plate one run, and Kelsey Heath (Lowell, Mass.) followed with an RBI single of her own to put Regis on top 2-0. Lesley's Thomas avoided any further damage by getting a pair of groundouts to end the inning.

Lesley got one back in the top of the third as Quezada had a two-out RBI triple that plated Lynch and cut the deficit in half. Regis went back up by two as another Lesley error allowed Allison Caloggero to score from third to give the Pride a 3-1 lead headed into the top of the fifth.

With two outs in their half of the fifth, Lesley had runners at first and second after a single by Nisbet and a hit batsman. Quezada continued to give the Pride problems as she singled up the middle to plate Lynch, who had reached on a fielder's choice earlier in the inning. Carlyn Barker (Marietta, Calif.) followed with an RBI single and Mekenzi Golden plated two more with a single to center to give the Lynx a 5-3 lead.

In their half of the fifth, Regis loaded the bases after back-to-back singles from Michaela NeJaime (Sandisfield, Mass.) and Jess Perez, while Kelsey Heath reached first on a dropped third strike. Jillian Sbardella worked out of the jam, striking the final two batters of the inning out, to hang on to the 5-3 lead.

Lesley added two more in the top of the sixth on an RBI double by Lynch and an RBI single from Theresa Pereira (Hopedale, Mass.). They stretched their lead to 10-3 on a two-run homerun by Golden, and an RBI double from Nisbet to pull away from the Pride late. Sbardella retired the side in order in the final two innings to keep Regis off the board and help the Lynx to the victory.

Kelsey Heath and Jess Perez each went 2-for-4 with an RBI, while Michaela NeJaime went 2-for-3 at the dish. Marissa Magarian (Goffstown, N.H.) tossed five innings, scattering six hits while giving up five runs in the loss. Victoria Allman (Newburyport, Mass.) tossed the final two innings for the Pride.

Thomas picked up her second win of the day, going four innings and allowing seven hits and three unearned runs. Sbardella pitched the final three innings, allowing only two hits while striking out four.
