WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College softball team has announced its upcoming schedule for the 2014 season. The Pride and first year head coach Nikki Panciocco will look to build upon back-to-back NECC Postseason Tournament appearances, both coming in the program's first two seasons as a part of the league.

The Pride return home from Florida following their spring break trip, matchups still to be determined, and will host former Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Gordon College in a doubleheader on March 18. Regis kicks off its 2014 NECC slate with a twinbill at Newbury College on the 22, before two-straight non-league doubleheaders at Mount Ida (March 25) and Pine Manor (March 27).

The Pride continue their 10 game road trip with back-to-back conference doubleheaders at Wheelock and Elms the weekend of March 29 and 30, finally returning home on April 5 with a league matchup against Mitchell College.

Sunday, April 6, the Pride take on current five-time NECC Champion Lesley University. Regis split a doubleheader with the Lynx last season, slipping past Lesley with a pair of runs in the sixth inning to earn a 5-4 victory.

The Pride take a breather from NECC play with a doubleheader against Fitchburg State University on April 10, before hosting Bay Path College and Daniel Webster College on April 12 and 13.

A pair of non-league doubleheaders against Lasell and Eastern Nazarene sandwich an NECC matchup at Becker College on April 17, and the Pride wrap up the regular season on April 26 by hosting Southern Vermont College.

NECC First Round play begins on April 29 with the NECC Playoffs continuing during the week and ending on May 4.
