WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman Stephen McCall (Brockton, Mass.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference men's cross country Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon.

McCall competed at the Roger Williams Invitational this past weekend. McCall helped lead the Pride men to an 11th place finish. He also set the 5K cross country school record after he finished the event in 17:27 which was good for 33rd place overall.

Regis returns to action in two weeks when they travel south to take part in the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on September 19th.
